Built in 1833, West Chinnock Primary School is a Church of England co-educational school and therefore has close links with the local church. It is for children aged 4 to 11 and serves mainly West Chinnock and the neighbouring village of Middle Chinnock. These are quiet, attractive villages in rural Somerset, located between Yeovil and Crewkerne.
Our grounds are extensive, giving the children many opportunities to work outside the classroom. Our Community Garden, wildlife pond and vegetable plot offer a wealth of opportunities for the children to explore the outside world. We are fortunate to have a tennis court, basketball court, under 8s play area and playing field with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, providing a stimulating backdrop to our academic pursuits.
